I find restrictions like these around ebooks incredibly annoying. I'm starting up a company that should provide a better alternative to current ebook lending schemes. It is a DRM-free ebook lending social network, or you could think of it as a p2p ebook lending library. We are looking to create a new kind of ebook license that allows a form of sharing that is both easy for readers and fair for copyright holders.
